One side note, I believe that Mortplayer is working because I believe that this app was written in such a way that it doesn't try to use existing windows features (such as notification) but does everything internally. Can't prove that but it maybe something to look into.

snu-p,
  I don't think adding voice cmd works, and disabling voice cmd in 6.1 rom will not affect alarm function, those ppl have other problems.  As for keeping Mortplayer running at the background, wouldn't it eat up the battery?  I've heard S2U2 also works, but I am more looking for tweaks and fixes and not adding 3rd party apps.  Please reconfirm alarm still works after performing the following steps.  Connect phone to pc via activesync using USB cable.  Unplug cable and let the phone run on battery.  Lock the phone and enter suspend mode.  Now test both windows alarm and Mortplayer alarm function.  The goal is to have the phone turn on with the lockscreen activated.  Please let me know of your result.
Thanks.

For your performance tweaks. I understand the idea of freeing up memory and what not but would you be able to be just a little more detailed on what these keys that you are deleting will effect? For instance, what program or option does it remove? I wouldn't want to accidently delete a key for something that I use. I believe that this would help us out a bit more than just saying delete these to make it run faster. Please and Thank You!

e20140

I plan on trying that, when I get a day off Smiley,
Mortplayer doesn't seem to use very much battery at all, I have accidently left it on all day before without much incident. As long as Mortplayer is running in the background it will wake even a locked phone.

My main reason for mentioning this app is it might provide a clue as to why alarms don't wake the phones using in 6.5 setups. As I mentioned before my thinking is when ever software doesn't work correctly with hardware it is usually a bad driver. It could be that we need to replace the .dll in our alarm apps with something that works as efficiently as mortplayer. I am thinking that the .dll (or what ever controls alarms) is not directly compatible with the incite hardware and thus needs to be modified. This would obviously be more intensive then a registery tweek.

Thanks for listening, and I will test your recommendation, but I hope we can find a more permanant answer that can be added to a new rom one day.

I would suggest you to look thru the txt files, and google the name.  If you are not sure about what they are, I would suggest you to wait until more ppl try these tweaks out.  I know the ball park of what they are, but in the real world.  The effect could be different from phone to phone because there are too many variables to consider and I can only test them on my phone.  Oh, time is also a factor as we are only doing this as we have time.  Hence, I listed my device with software and the limitation of this post.  When I get more result reported from member, I will then update the post.

I couldn't connect to media net after following this thread.

I am not surprise. LOL
Try adding these reg back one at a time and see which one you need for medianet.  I am incline to said the 1st one.
1. HKLM\Security\WAP\PGList\www.wdsglobal.com/PPG
2. HKLM\System\Loader\ModuleInfo\unimodem.dll
   HKLM\Drivers\Unimodem
3. HKLM\System\Loader\ModuleInfo\ppp.dll
   HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\PPP
If you don't have a backup, please let me know. Once you figure it out, please report back to help other members who need media net.

Thanks.

New Tweak update:
Accelerometer Working!!!!  No freeze for 2 days and keep on running!   Shocked  Is it working?  I doubt it is but it's safe to say the following tweak greatly reduce the chance of screen freeze on my phone.  At least, this tweak should improve DirectX performance at the cost of RAM.

Change the following registry or try the attached test.cab
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DirectX\DirectShow\Video Renderer]
"MaxBackBuffers"=dword: 8
"UseScanLine"=dword: 1
"UseOverlayStretch"=dword: 0
"SurfaceTypes"=dword: 2
Please feel free to change setting as I don't know which is the best, and please report back your result.

Delete this Key It is only compatible with x86 processor.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DirectX\DirectShow\WMVDecoder

Correction under the delete key on 1st post:
"HKLM\Software\LGE\Apps\InitApp\Launch:Launch01 " />
"HKLM\Software\LGE\Apps\InitApp\Launch:Delay01" />
Previously, I have them under HKLM\System\Loader

bobdallama,

I have Garmin XT on my phone also using Xcite 3 and have no problems at all with it.  Works flawlessly.  Try going to the GPS settings and disable it and then re-enable it.

Added new CAB to fix accelerometer freeze issue.  Note: I do not claim it's 100% fix because there is other phone freezing issue.
WMX WM6.5 Tweaks Sp2.cab includes accelerometer fix.

If you have already install tweak Sp1, best is to unstall Sp1 and install Sp2.

Additional reg tweak:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\ErrorFatal]
"Enable"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\ErrorReporting]
"Enable"=dword:00000000
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\ErrorReporting\DumpSettings]
"DumpEnabled"=dword:00000000[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\DirectX\DirectShow\Video Renderer]
"MaxBackBuffers"=dword:00000008
"UseScanLine"=dword:00000001
"SrcPrerotateMode"=dword:00000001
"UseOverlayStretch"=dword:00000000
"SurfaceTypes"=dword:00000002

Addition to the delete registry section:
   <nocharacteristic type="HKLM\Drivers\Display\Settings\EBI2" />
   <nocharacteristic type="HKLM\Drivers\Display\Settings\ILCDC" />
   <nocharacteristic type="HKLM\Drivers\Display\Settings\ILCDCgordon" />
   <nocharacteristic type="HKLM\Comm\IrDA" />
   <nocharacteristic type="HKLM\Comm\Irsir" />
   <nocharacteristic type="HKLM\Comm\Irsir1" />

wow. i made a noob mistake. when i flashed my phone, i did not clear my sd card, and apparently it just installed garmin automatically. when i cleared my card and reinstalled it, everything works great.

p.s. i dunno if you have a data connection and therefore are able to use aGPS, but this thread has great info on how to tweak the GPSone radio settings...http://www.lg-incite.com/lg-incite-tutorials/garmin-gps/

it has really helped with the speed of connecting to the sattelites

When you mean it helps freezing (but not all freezing) can you be more specific?

I understand that you treat screen redraw issues and system freezes as separate. Which does the accel fix cure?

And does it cure totally or does it minimize the issue? (For that particular type of problem)
