"And the band played on..."

Hi everyone, hope you can help. I used to have a Pantech Duo (C810), on which I used my headset; some time after I bought my headset its vol - button broke, and I couldn't lower it. However, in the Duo I just change system volume and that does the trick. I can even do the same on my PC with Broadcom USB Dongle.

Now, in my Incite I try to do the same but... it does nothing. My headset still plays sound at a terrible high volume. Using my player's volume doesn't work either. I've tried with Windows Media Player, Core Player, PockeTunes and HTC Media Manager.

Is there any software that can make Incite transmit the audio to the Headset with a lower volume??

Thanks in advance... see ya'
