Hi there. Newly reg'd user here playing with the Incite (new WM user) and I was reading something about the Pandora music genome app that's installed under the music applications icon.

Loading it now and after logging in, it tells me I have a 1 day free trial. However, from my understanding, Pandora is offered free on the iPhone yet for the Incite, you get a free 1 day trial and then it's like $8/mo.

Anyone have any thoughts or concerns about this? Myself, I think since they're both AT&T network phones, if it's free on one it should be free on the other.

And I'm sure there's plenty of other apps and online sites to stream from but Pandora is one of those things that a lot of people like.

I'm guessing that Pandora has an agreement with AT$T and the iPhone to offer it free to attract more customers and that no such agreement exists for other AT$T phone models.

On my phone Pandora never even worked. I always got a message saying the service was not available, so I deleted it.

If you find other options out there, I want to know, I liked pandora, but didnt want to pay the additional 8.00 a month, especially after i am paying for the data plan.

Are there free ones out there that use the data plan?

Pandora never worked on mine, so I removed it. The version on the Incite is not free, either, and forget it if you don't have a data plan because it will rack up use charges.

I wouldn't expect AT$T tech support to be much help with 3rd party software. They barely know much about their own stuff.

Contact Pandora first then LG.
LG has awesome customer service but if you get the wrong person and it's not in their documentation then your out of luck. Pandora would know what the error code means.

The preinstalled version of Pandora is locked by ATT, you have to have ATT service to use it. Since you are using Tmobile, you can't use that version. I'm sure you can download a different version though.

Using your phone's browser, go to www.pandora.com to see if it will let you get the service.

Yes, I got the CAB from xda working.

You have to turn it into landscape mode before hitting "Yes or No" to the "do you already have a login" question.

Then I clicked inside the field and pressed the volume keys to get the keyboard to display.  I then proceeded to hit tab to move to the next field just to be safe.  After I submitted it, all of my stations came up fine and it worked in either landscape or portrait.

i will give pandora a try .... but i definitely like the old style radio.  if i wouldn't want commercials, i would play my mp3's (and don't need internet for that).

try this, chances are you find your local radio stations there:
