If you are playing a game like a Tetris clone or other puzzle game that requires a D pad (up, down, left, right) you can use the LGJavaKey. Click the keyboard icon at the bottom of the screen and select it.

Simple enough, but if you never knew it was there you might toss a good game.

What I don't understand is why AT&T gives us a trial version of Pacman, but we can't use the javakey app to play it?  Do they expect us to use a stylus?

They don't think that much.  Thats why there is plenty of room under the screen (right where the LG logo is) for a little dpad or optical mouse, but instead there is an incredibly helpful logo. Roll Eyes  Same reason they made the FM radio show up in the LG menu, but not the programs directory.  I actually had to find the exe and copy it to the program directory myself. Angry

Hmm.. I've never thought of that.
I've downloaded a few games then ended up deleting them because using the keyboard was tough.
Then I've wondered what the Java Key was for.

Haha thanks :]

Something else to keep in mind, not sure it it was mentioned in another post,

You can program a button {camera or voice command} to call up the keyboard. Thus, if you have an application/game that does not easily allow you to use said D-Pad, reprogram the Button in the Settings area and be sure Javakey is set as default.

Then just load the app, press the button, and you are off!

Chances are you are not going to use the camera or voice command during the game anyway so why not put the buttons to some other use eh? just remember to set it back if you wish to regain the earlier functionality.

Have a great day!

You can also use Bluetooth with a keyboard or the MSI BGP100.
Or even better:
